Reigning FIA World Touring Car Champion Rob Huff is firmly established as one of the greatest touring car racers of his generation. The Newmarket-based driver amassed a staggering 21 race wins and 44 podium finishes in a successful seven-year stint with the works Chevrolet team, as he inexorably rose to the ultimate prize - the 2012 World Touring Car Championship title.
In 2013, 'Huffy' is vying to defend his coveted crown with the ALL-INKL.COM Munnich Motorsport team - the reigning FIA GT1 World Champion squad - while also racing a classic Austin Mini Cooper S at the Brands Hatch Historic Masters Festival, Silverstone Classic and Goodwood Revival.
Rob was awarded British motorsport’s highest honour - a British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC) Gold Star - for his achievements in the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) in 2011 and 2012.
As a multiple BRDC Gold Star winner, Rob stands among many of motorsport's greatest names, including F1 legends Sir Stirling Moss and Sir Jackie Stewart.
Racing is at the core of Rob’s ethos and passion, and because of this, he is always keen to broaden his horizons with new opportunities that are available to him.
2013 has already seen Rob compete in the Bathurst 12 Hours in an Audi R8 LMS, whilst he emerged victorious at the Goodwood Revival in such varied machinery as an Austin A40 and a Mini Cooper.
This year Rob is hoping to compliment his WTCC programme with outings in Australian V8 Supercars and Le Mans Prototypes.
Rob quickly grew accustomed to winning from the earliest stages of his motorsport career. He won every accolade during his rapid ascent through the junior ranks, including the Jim Russell Scholarship, the Renault Clio Scholarship and SEAT Cupra Championship, before making a name for himself in 'tin-tops' as a works SEAT Sport UK driver in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
In 2005, the fledgling RML-led works Chevrolet team sought Rob for its attack on the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) and that's where he stayed until emphatically winning the 2012 World Drivers' title.
